Montana is the place of Jussila’s birth and upbringing. As a child he wanted to be like the Montana artist, C. M. Russell, which in mood and feeling intuitively happened but…   Abstractly. Jussila discovered painting at what was then Montana State College in Bozeman, which was followed by a fool’s errand to Vietnam that led to a position at Montana State University in Billings for which he is grateful; through sharing his perception of painting and drawing changed.
