From Then to Now: East Asian Art in Private Collections with Todd Larkin

Todd Larkin, Professor of Art History at Montana State University, presents on the history of Asian art being featured in private collections by individuals across history and contemporary collectors. Larkin will offer a visual comparison of hardstones, porcelains, lacquers, and more from the collections of Marie Antoinette and Daryl Paulson, a Bozeman-based collector. The Paulson Collection is represented in the YAM’s exhibition Northeastern Asia and the Northern Rockies, curated by Larkin and Stephen Little (LACMA).
